Frequently Asked Questions

How fast can I get 3D printed parts in Canada?

Standard production is 5 business days plus transit. Rush options are available on most materials. Your exact lead time is shown before you order.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

We produce single prototypes through to production runs of several thousand parts. Some technologies do have a nominal start-up cost.

What file formats do you accept?

STL, STEP, 3MF, OBJ and IGES. If you have a physical part with no CAD file, our 3D scanning service can create one.

What materials can you print?

In-house we run HP Multi Jet Fusion nylon PA12s, SLS TPU, and a wide variety of SLA resins and FDM filaments. Through partners we offer PA12, PA12W, PA11, polypropylene, MJF TPU,  and metal parts including 17-4 PH stainless, titanium, and aluminum.

Do you ship across Canada?

Yes, anywhere in Canada, plus the United States from our Colville, Washington address.

What tolerances can you hold?

Tolerances depend on technology chosen, MJF typically holds +- 0.3% with a lower bound of +-0.3mm, while SLA achieves tighter tolerances on small features. You can see a side by side comparison here

Is my design confidential?

Yes. We maintain confidentiality agreements with all staff and production partners, and apply data security controls to customer files. We are also always happy to review Non Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreements.
