On-Demand 3D Printing for
Industrial Supply and Equipment
Produce durable, production-ready parts for equipment, tooling, and maintenance — with fast local manufacturing, tight tolerances, and scalable production.
Why Industrial Supply and Manufacturing Teams Use Tempus 3D
Tempus 3D supports industrial supply and manufacturing teams with reliable, in-house additive manufacturing and production-ready materials designed for real operating environments.

Production-Ready Technologies & Materials
Built for durability, repeatability and real-world environments.
Tempus uses industrial-grade additive manufacturing technologies and engineering-grade polymers selected for strength, dimensional stability, and repeatable performance. Our materials support functional prototypes, tooling, and end-use components used in demanding environments.

Consistent, On-Spec Production
Reliable quality from prototype through production
Controlled, in-house manufacturing processes ensure repeatable quality across prototype, pilot, and low-to-mid-volume production runs. Parts are produced to specification, batch after batch.

Fast Quoting & Flexible Ordering
Move from CAD to parts without unnecessary delays.
Instant pricing and lead times are available for standard parts, with transparent volume discounts for repeat orders and production runs. Upload CAD files for fast turnaround, or work with our team to specify custom materials and application-specific requirements.

Local, In-House Manufacturing
Reduce risk with Canadian-based production.
Canadian-based, in-house manufacturing reduces lead times and mitigates supply-chain risk. Local production supports maintenance, repair, and operational needs with consistent quality and dependable delivery.
3D Printing Technologies for Industrial Supply
Each technology supports different material performance, durability, and production requirements across industrial supply and manufacturing applications.

As one of Canada’s only HP Digital Manufacturing Network Production Professionals, Tempus 3D has been evaluated by HP for our manufacturing and quality processes. We deliver in-house production with HP MJF 5200, enabling high-volume output, competitive pricing, fast turnaround, and responsive manufacturing support.
Materials for Industrial Applications
Tempus 3D works with a focused set of engineering-grade materials selected to support durability, repeatable performance, and reliable production in real operating environments.

Durable Production Polymers
For load-bearing, wear-resistant, and mechanically demanding parts
Used for functional parts that must withstand mechanical load, abrasion, and repeated handling in equipment, tooling, and supply chain applications. These materials support consistent performance across prototype, pilot, and ongoing production runs.
Representative Materials:
PA12 (MJF, SLS), ABS, PETG

Precision & High-Detail Materials
For tight-tolerance, dimensionally accurate, and surface-critical applications.
Optimized for applications where dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and fine feature resolution are critical. These materials are commonly used for precision components, tooling inserts, molds, and validation parts.
Representative Materials:
Clear SLA resins, engineering-grade SLA materials

Flexible & Impact-Resistant Materials
For components requiring elasticity, vibration damping, or repeated deflection.
Selected for components that require elasticity, shock absorption, or vibration damping in active operating environments. Common applications include protective interfaces, flexible components, and parts subject to repeated deflection.
Representative Materials:
TPU (MJF, SLS), elastic SLA resins

Specialized Application Polymers
For unique environmental, mechanical, or regulatory requirements.
Used when applications demand specific mechanical or environmental performance characteristics beyond standard production polymers. Material selection is guided by functional requirements and end-use conditions.
Representative Materials:
Glass-filled nylons, polypropylene
Finishing Options
Finishing options are selected to enhance durability, appearance, and dimensional consistency for industrial applications.

Raw Finish
Parts have a raw finish after printing and cleaning. They can be used as-is or given extra finishing for improved appearance or performance. Raw finish parts may have leftover powder or uneven coloring.

Black Dye
Black dye enhances the appearance and finish of the parts. The color is applied by submerging the parts in a dye bath. Black dye can be used alone or with other finishing processes like vapor smoothing.

Vapor Smoothing
Vapor smoothing uses a chemical polishing process to improve surface finish, seal surfaces, and enhance material properties. Black dye is recommended with vapor smoothing for better color uniformity. Learn More
